About Our Studio
We supply mats, blocks, straps & filtered water. Please bring
you own mat if you have one. Changing room & bathroom are available
in studio.
Class Descriptions & Levels:
G- Gentle, slow paced class; beginners welcome
I- Moderate, fluid class; some experience recommended
II- Vigorous, challenging class; solid yoga knowledge recommended
Anusara Inspired: Based on the teachings of John Friend & Rajanaka Tantric Philosophy, every class begins with a heart-opening theme and takes students on an uplifting & challenging journey of the body, mind and spirit. Each class is grounded in the universal principles of alignment and teaches students to playfully 'flow with grace' as they align with nature and the rhythms of the universe.
Community Practice:
Come join other Yoga Mountain students and teachers for a self-guided morning practice designed by YOU and inspired by the group energy!
This weekly practice is a great opportunity to tune into your own body's needs in the company of other wonderful yogis/yoginis.
Teachers and students of all levels will join together, and flow at their own pace and practice asana together.
Yoga, meditation, pranayama, restorative practice, or deep relaxation for the full time are all welcome. Bring yourself as you are and enjoy the support and company of our awesome community! All levels welcome, from beginner to advanced. ($5)

Gentle/Adaptive Yoga: Based on the ancient, theraputic uses of yoga, this gentle healing class focuses on postures, breathing, and meditation; great for new or seasoned students, those with chronic injuries, anyone who is stressed or dealing with discomfort or pain.
Kirtan: This devotional & lively form of
yoga opens the heart, soul, and voice through chanting sacred
sounds and mantras. Feel free to bring instruments of all kinds.
Delicious treats and chai are always served!
Kripalu: Breath, relax, feel, and allow your
heart to open in this spiritually uplifting and grounding class.
Explore the landscape of your energy, emotions and physical sensations
while both flowing through, and steadily holding, postures. Attention
is given to honoring your body and moving from the inside out.
Mindfulness Meditation: Based on the teachings
of Thich Nhat Hanh. Silent practice, lively discussion, tea & snacks.

Morning Flow Yoga : Wake up and warm up with this morning practice. Open your body and mind to start your day on the right foot. Enjoy deep flows and postures that build on morning's bright energy. Come join us! All levels welcome. For details please call Géraldine at 802.477.2557.
Geraldine is certified in Phoenix yoga, a unique form of healing in motion, wonderfully effective for emotional stress and stress related ailments. She is originally from France and recently moved to Montpelier, where she feels a little more at home every day! She brings her love of dance and martial arts, her playfulness and compassion to her yoga teaching and hopes to bring joy and emotional balance in people's lives.
Pre-Natal: Bliss out with your baby in this
nourishing & uplifting class for Moms to be, partners/friends
of Moms to be, and even those wishing to get pregnant who would
like to be in a supportive space & cultivate fertile energy. Cettina will be back teaching pre-natal yoga this spring '08!!
Restorative: Relax into bliss in this deeply nurturing class while being fully supported by blankets, props, and pillows. No effort necessary. Restorative Yoga is offered one sunday per month and great for those wanting deep relaxation, healing and rejuvenation.
Vinyasa/Flow: Postures are linked by breath
in this fluid, rhythmic and high- energy class. Move, sweat,
breathe and play as you explore a skillfully sequenced series
of poses & variations on Sun Salutations (Surya Namaskar),
grounded deeply in the ocean (ujjayi) breath. Feel free to take
this challenging class at your own unique pace.
ListeningArts Yoga:
With Jasmine. We will listen to our bodies and cultivate awareness through slow and strengthening movement, and breath. Teacher Jasmine Lamb gives students room to discover their own experience of yoga and deepen their awareness of what it means to be human and to be at home within themselves. She believes that there is no state that can limit one's capacity to practice. In fact, these so-called limitations are the very heart of our practice.
